The 2010 Wakulla Wildlife Festival offers an expanded menu of food favorites from the Big Bend.

The Coastal Restaurant of Panacea will be on site to provide seafood fresh from the Gulf.  The seafood industry has long been a valued element of the Wakulla Springs Basin.  The menu of this long-time Wakulla County favorite is sure to please those who enjoy the taste of the sea.

Fred Mohrfeld of The Kast Net has a passion.  It is his slow-cooked, southern-style barbeque.  He may have a taste sensation folks won’t be able to resist.  Hopefully, you’ll give it a try and give Fred some feedback.

If you’re ready to enjoy fresh and tantalizing flavors, then the food from Taste Budz Catering will fit the bill.  Taste Budz specializes in exotic flavors designed for the health conscious consumer.  Give this local favorite a try, and you’ll be back for seconds!

The Soda Fountain in the lodge at Wakulla Springs will be offering snacks and lighter fair such as chips and sub sandwiches.  Best of all, hand-dipped ice cream treats await those who wish to indulge in pure pleasure.  Don’t forget to try a Ginger Yip!

If you would like to treat yourself to the elegance of lunch in the Dining Room of Wakulla Springs Lodge, don’t hesitate to make reservations at the front desk.  The half-pound Wakulla Burger is a lunchtime favorite.  Sample the delectable fried-green tomatoes or savor shrimp served over a bed of lettuce with tomatoes, peppers and olives.The offerings are varied and will delight both the light and hearty appetite.
